Movember 2012 going great!
So how are we all doing withe our Movember moustache?... Personally mine is coming along a treat however I must say that I have seen some amazing ones as well!
So what's it all about?
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of menís faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for menís health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
The Movember Effect: Awareness & Education, Survivorship, Research
The funds raised in the UK are directed to programmes run directly by Movember and†their menís health partners, Prostate Cancer UK and the Institute of Cancer Research.†They work with these partners to ensure that Movember funds are supporting a broad range of innovative, world-class programmes in line with their strategic goals in the areas of awareness and education, survivorship and research.
As you can see, I have taken part in movember too!
I was rather proud of my Mexican Mo (mind you a few of my friends have been calling it other things...) until I recently spoke to a few people on twitter who soon put me straight!†
So, do you have a Movember that you would like to share with everyone? Send it to me by e-mail with a little bit about you and I will pop you in "The Final Mo" on my website at the end of Movember!
Send your mo†to: †email@example.com
